In light of the recent security standards emerging in Europe, RISCO Group has decided to upgrade its best selling detectors and comply with the strictest PD6662, EN50131-1, TS50131-2-2 Grade 3, Class II standards. RISCO Group detectors that comply with these standards are: iWISE Green Line DT Anti-Mask & iWISE QUAD Anti-Mask for indoors wall mount installations, LuNAR Green Line DT for ceiling mount installations, ShockTec & ShockTec Plus for window/door protection and ViTRON & ViTRON Plus for glass break applications.
The features added in the detectors to comply with EN50131-1are not the only features that were modified in the detectors. RISCO Group Grade 3 detectors exceed PD6662 and EN50131-1 requirements, implementing the technical specifications of TS50131-2-x according to BSIA guidelines to Manufacturers in BSIA form 185. Some of features include: Wall/back tamper, Active IR for anti-mask, remote LED disable, built-in EOL resistors (jumper selectable) and 3 LEDs for easier walk-test.
The Active IR for Anti-mask in DT and PIR detectors added in the Anti-Mask detectors provides higher immunity to false masking alarms and enhanced security compared to other anti-mask detectors in the market who use MW channel for anti-masking to save costs resulting less reliability and false masking alarms.
In addition to these required features, RISCO Group has added two of its leading technologies: GreenLine Technology -disables MW during unset mode and ACT-Anti-CloakT Technology for detecting cloaked burglars.
