Pelco hybrid video recorders maximise system value

Reading, Berkshire

The latest additions to Pelco's expanded range of video recording solutions, the DX4700 and DX4800 hybrid video recorders (HVRs), are now available through Norbain.

Designed for customers who want to migrate to megapixel technology whilst gaining maximum value from their existing analogue video cameras, the new DX4700 and DX4800 HVRs can provide users with maximum system value.

Available with 8 or 16 channels and capacity for two IP cameras (up to 3 megapixel each), the DX4700 and DX4800 offer an unmatched combination of power and performance, in a cost-effective package. Suitable for mid-range applications, each unit features connection to DX and DS DVRs/HVRs, and 8Tb hard disk internal storage, in addition to bi-directional audio capability.
Both models record up to 30 images per second on all channels, whilst the DX4800 includes the ability to record full frame rate video at 4CIF resolution. With their expanded recording capability, the Pelco HVRs offer existing analogue investments an extended life - helping end-users to extract the most from their initial capital outlay.

"These latest additions to the Pelco range can prove instrumental in maximizing the performance capability of existing systems, essentially, to create economical hybrid solutions," says Buzz Coates, Norbain's Divisional Director Branded CCTV. "Perfect for a wide variety of applications, the Pelco DX4700 and DX4800 can provide intuitive control and a high level of specification when deployed in any video recording role."
