Open locks remotely with Smartair

London, UK

The Smartair wireless online management system from Tesa enables security managers to stay in control of their premises, even from hundreds of miles away, via a web browser or mobile phone.

Smartair wireless door devices connect to a central control system via TCP/IP on-site hubs. Choose the new Smartair wireless online management system and it is easy for facility managers to open these doors from anywhere, to configure access rights remotely, or to generate real-time audit trails for any lock in an organisation using the latest version of the Smartair Web Manager.

Smartair Web Manager runs on any desktop PC, laptop or tablet. No software installation is required to access the online server, because it works inside a Chrome, IE, Safari, or Firefox browser. Https protocol communication and SSL password encryption keeps everything locked tight.

Smartair Wireless Online also makes it easy for facilities managers to stay up-to-date with their premises' security status. Simply configure the Smartair Web Manager to send automatic email alerts when wireless lock batteries are low, generate real-time audit trails, or report failed access attempts.

For added convenience and flexibility, combine the Smartair Web Manager with the Smartair app, available from Apple, Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile app stores. If an employee has lost or forgotten their smartcard, the facilities manager can open specific doors across multiple premises when needed, with just a couple of taps inside the app.

"This is the most advanced version of our Smartair Wireless Online management system to date,” says Iñaki Ruiz at Tesa. "We built it for premises with security doors that get significant footfall. It allows facility managers to open doors from anywhere, but makes no compromises on site security.”
