Norbain launches Xeno range

Reading, Berkshire

Available from Norbain, Xeno have launched a new range of IP products which feature a variety of impressive features that the company believe are not normally found in value for money ranges. Within phase one of the release there are three camera models and a four channel NVR, all feature rich, benefitting from a one year advanced replacement policy and fully supported by Norbain.

The camera models include a varifocal bullet, varifocal vandal dome and fixed lens dome, all offering a wealth of features not usually included within a low cost range. The camera range offers 1080p for full HD resolution up to 60ips for excellent quality images. With true WDR (120dB), corridor mode and IR illumination, they are ideal for entrance applications with challenging lighting that need to be monitored 24 hours per day.

The main features of these IP cameras include full 1080p HD resolution at 60ips, WDR, triple streaming, IR illumination, varifocal and fixed lens options, corridor mode and built-in PoE for compact, single cable installation.

In addition to the cameras, the XNR44P NVR offers simplicity of installation as it will automatically discover and display the cameras. The ability to set the camera video streams from the NVR’s menus means that the engineer does not require a laptop for commissioning.

Modelled on the XDR4 range of analogue DVRs, it looks and operates in the same manner. In fact, the FOC client software that is supplied with the NVR will also allow communications with both the XDR4 and newer XDR960 analogue DVRs, thereby offering a hybrid solution.

Main features of the NVR include auto set-up for true plug and play convenience, no laptop required, it has the same interface as the existing Xeno DVR range, is equipped with bult-in PoE and provides evidential quality HD 1080p real time recording.

Xeno are so sure of the quality of their products that, as of January 2015, they offer as standard advanced replacement on any product in the range that develops a fault within 12 months as a result of a manufacturing or production defect.

Bob Forehand, Xeno Product Manager, comments: “The new Xeno IP range aptly combines simplicity and functionality without breaking the bank. The plug and play feature on the NVR provides incredibly quick and hassle-free set up, whilst the cameras come with a host of high quality features suitable for most applications. It really does offer a reliable, quality option for those cost-conscious installations.”
