Norbain adds new Elmdene access control PSUs

Reading, Berkshire

Norbain has now added Elmdene’s new range of power supplies to its expanding portfolio.  The new PSUs are specifically for use with access control systems. The range has been carefully designed to house some of the most common door controllers, to ensure convenience and flexibility for installations.

With different power options and enclosure sizes available, this new access control range offers the installer a choice of PSUs, for a variety of applications. The range could also mean cost-savings with some of the units having the capability to provide battery backed power for multiple door controllers, saving time and money on installing singular units.

The access control range also includes the multi access PSUs, which are of a unique design. These models are supplied with a hinged cabling system and can provide either 12V or 24V whilst also offering an independent ancillary relay that can be used for applications such as a ‘fire’ door release relay. The enclosure is also a larger design, which accommodate expander plates, should additional door controllers be required; further adding to the flexibility this range is able to offer.

The whole range uses the energy-efficient switch mode technology and therefore have a universal mains supply input (90-264V AC). All models also provide fault signalling and can charge a 12V standby battery to provide backup power on a mains failure.

Elmdene will consider any adaptations of this range for bespoke products to suit your requirements. Screen printing a company logo on the power supply enclosure is also possible.
