New functionalitites for NetVu connected DVRs

Warington, UK

Dedicated Micros is making IP streaming and recording available as a standard feature for its NetVu connected DVRs, including the DV-IP ATM, DV-IP Server, BX2, DS2, and DS Server, and as a free upgrade for many existing models.

This new functionality means that compatible DVRs will be able to readily display and record IP video streams from IP cameras, IP domes, encoders and other NetVu Connected DVRs. Telemetry support offers the user the ability to control IP domes over the network seamlessly using a traditional joystick telemetry keyboard, displaying them through a connected composite monitor.

The use of NetVu obserVer and NetVu console as additional remote viewing and control platforms for IP sources, in conjunction with NetVu Connected DVRs, also greatly expands the monitoring potential of a CCTV solution.

This release of an IP streaming and recording capability from Dedicated Micros also enables users to access the current range of DM IP products on their NetVu connected DVR. The DV-IP encoder and the IP dome for example can all be viewed, configured and recorded as if they were any standard camera, allowing a single viewing platform to record IP and analogue sources.
