Managing the issue and return of 10 laptops or tablet devices is simple, but the management of several hundred devices is much more complicated, so Lapsafe has designed Nedap's electronic locker management solution LoXS into the Lapsafe Diploma.

The result will be exhibited at BETT 2013 exhibition, taking place from Wednesday 30th January to Saturday 2nd February 2013 at the Excel showground in London.

Lapsafe Diplomat incorporated with Nedap LoXS enables the user to provide safe charging and secure storage of laptops and tablets and can enable students to intuitively use their existing ID badge to borrow equipment.

The system allows dynamic management of the issue and return of laptops and tablets without employee involvement, enabling authorised users to manage the entire solution centrally via a PC, smartphone or tablet device.

The main financial benefits include lower recurring costs compared to key based or manual issue systems and the system enables users to optimise space and equipment.
