National CCTV surveillance week confirms major sponsors
London, UK
In recognising that there are a range of common issues that can readily impact on the effectiveness of CCTV, NCIW 2012 and it’s Official Supporters Counter Terror Expo and Ifsec International, are keen to help existing users raise the operational effectiveness of their security camera systems.
National CCTV Improvement Week is seeking to encourage a broad range of CCTV operators to set aside some time to evaluate their existing video surveillance systems, and then look at ways of identifying where simple basic adjustments could be made to hopefully improve overall performance, increase operational effectiveness, and address any existing data management or privacy concerns.
On behalf of NCIW 2012, CCTV Advisor Doktor Jon commented: “With regards to the aims of National CCTV Improvement Week, it’s highly gratifying to have such prestigious security events as Ifsec International and the Counter Terror Expo, supporting the key objectives to help CCTV users “focus on safety and security”. It’s vitally important for all CCTV systems to work effectively, particularly where they may be called upon to provide evidential recordings in serious crime and terrorism related investigations, and this is a key concern for both of these major security events.”
