Edinburgh, UK

Indigovision has appointed Jurgen Klijn to its executive team, as Senior Vice President, EMEA.
Klijn has been with Indigovision since 2006, as a sales account manager based in Amsterdam. Over that time, he has built a strong business in the Benelux region. Klijn came to Indigovision with an established record in security system business development, having worked with international operating companies Optelecom-NKF, Getronics and previously in a variety of roles with local system integrators.

Marcus Kneen, Indigovision CEO, welcomed Klijn to the role: “Jurgen’s technical strengths and knowledge in selling the Indigovision solution and understanding of the business will ensure continued growth for the region.”

Klijn commented: “I’m looking forward to this role and new challenge. Indigovision has a well-established network of partners and industry-leading reference sites. The sustained strong investment in product development is now producing a flow of new products that makes this an exciting time for the business.”

Indigovision recently reported operating profits up by 14% to a record £1.59m ($2.5m) for the six-month period ending 31 January 2012. When currency fluctuations are factored in, operating profits rose by 25%. Continued strong investment in research and development increased spending by 9%.
