IP cameras with standard and megapixel resolution in mixed operation with analogue cameras can now be operated with every HeiTel system. The integration of network cameras (manufacturer-independent) into local or remote video monitoring stations with HeiTel video management software is therefore no problem at all.

Existing HeiTel installations just have to be updated remotely with firmware 1.74 (and above) to benefit from the new hybrid functionality. CamServer, CamDisc SVR and Cam4mobile can be operated as hybrid network recorder (HNVR).

With this first release HeiTel has integrated some of the most commonly used IP camera models. However, thanks to the ability to carry out remote firmware updates and HeiTel's commitment to add more/new protocols, their systems are prepared for future IP camera models.
