HD version of True Virtual Matrix

Clovis, California (USA)

Pelco announces the release of the latest version of its Endura IP Video Surveillance System.

Company officials say that the key feature of Endura 2.1 is the new HD Virtual Matrix, which is enabled by the two new Endura components: the HD Video Console Display and HD Video Decoder. These new additions allow surveillance and security professionals to use and control their video system with ease and efficiency.

According to Pelco management, this true virtual matrix offers the power to call any camera to any monitor within any layout across the entire system. An innovative Pelco-designed digital keyboard with joystick provides an unmatched ergonomic user-experience.

"The best virtual matrix in the industry just got better. With High Profile H.264 support and the ability to take full advantage of 16:9 Ratio monitors, this release takes the Security and Surveillance industry one step closer to what we've all been waiting for.Truly high-quality, end-to-end HD video that's easy to integrate and use on a daily basis," says Mitch Fagundes, Pelco product marketing manager.

The HD Video Console Display brings HD capability to the monitor wall, with unparalleled support for two Full HD 1080p monitors. By adding an Endura KBD5000 Keyboard to the VCD, users enjoy full matrix-like control from the industry's first full IP-based joystick controller. The new VCD also supports a built-in DVD burner, allowing users to export video at a VCD console.

For users who prefer to operate their system with PC keyboard and mouse, the NET5402RHD offers similar support for two simultaneous 1080P H.264 real-time video streams.
