Geutebruck TFT wins recognition

Windhagen, Germany

A German testing lab recently carried out a series of objective bench tests on four professional TFT monitors from Samsung, JVC, Sony and Geutebruck; and a CRT monitor from JVC. Commissioned by German security magazine Protector, AVT.O.P. Messtechnik in Munich compared the two fundamentally different types of technology, but in doing so also provided interesting data comparing the different TFT brands.

Top of this class was the Geutebruck GVT-19P monitor with best marks for picture quality (video and DVI), grey scale accuracy, brightness resolution (luminance), contrast and contrast range, maximum and average brightness, black level, and colour fidelity (colour space, white temperature, grey tracking). With a list price of 1,048 Euros Geutebruck's was the biggest screen tested and only 53 Euros more expensive than the lowest scoring product.
