Fire manufacturer sponsors Winter Olypmics British skiing talent

C TEC has secured sponsorship of up and coming British ski racer, David Ryding. The company, a UK leading manufacturer of fire alarm control panels, will invest £5000 to fund the young talent whose Alpine skiing activities this season include Federation Internationale de Ski Racing in Europe.

David, a member of the Great Britain Squad, has been skiing since he was 6 and aims to compete in the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
The 19 year old has had a great season so far, winning the overall British Junior Championships and coming second in the British Senior Slalom Championships. Says David, 'C-TEC's decision to invest in my career has given me a massive boost both personally and financially. The costs of ski racing are increasing all the time and, as people like me don't receive Government funding, it means I am wholly reliant on my family and donations from companies like C-TEC to fund my career'.
States Andrew Foster, C-TEC's managing director, 'We are delighted to be sponsoring David, a skier approaching the peak of his professional career, and I am confident that he will excel in his international performances in Europe this season'.
