The annual awards are in their sixteenth year and will be attended by over 1,000 security industry practitioners. Executive Director of EEMA, David Goodman states: "As the association for E-Identity and security EEMA has been at the forefront of the discussion surrounding convergence for some years now. Technology such as biometrics and the rapid proliferation of IP cameras, sensors, alarm systems and more, residing on the IT network, means that today physical and IT security professionals are important bedfellows.”
The awards recognising the very best people, project and processes in the UK security sector will be presented on Thursday 27th November 2014, at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
For more than 27 years, EEMA has been Europe’s leading independent, non-profit E-Identity and security association, working with its members, government bodies, standards organisations and interoperability initiatives throughout Europe to further e-Business and legislation.
EEMA and its partners are currently involved in several European-funded projects including STORK 2.0, Cloud for Europe (C4E) and Future ID.
