This latest barrier solution has been launched in direct response to market demands for a simplified barrier product that comes with the reliability associated with the APT name and that can be installed ‘straight from the box’. The APT Guardian+ includes a fast acting barrier arm, pedestal, nesting post, access control system, loop cable and detectors. The barrier arms are available in 3m, 3.5m, 4m, 4.5m and 5m, and the system comes with a choice of access control technologies which can be either swipe card, keypad and/or intercom.

APT Security Systems says that this new product complements its more sophisticated barrier systems, whilst still upholding the company’s reputation for quality and reliability: “There are occasions where the installer or end user wants a simple solution to their vehicular access control,” says Managing Director Chris Rowlands. “We can answer that with a straightforward product that gives them exactly what they need and all in one box, and at an economical price. The only thing required to complete the simple install is mains power and bases for mounting the equipment.”

According to APT the Guardian+ is particularly well suited to sites such as schools, commercial premises and staff car parks.
