American Dynamics new desktop and mini-tower NVRs

San Diego, Ca (USA)

American Dynamics, part of Tyco Security Products, has expanded the Videoedge NVR product family with the introduction of the desktop/mini-tower.
This new NVR offers users the enterprise scalability and functionality of Videoedge, in a small, simple version. Businesses such as small retail stores, banks and other commercial sites, with installations of two to 32 IP cameras, can benefit from Videoedge’s ultra-reliable recording, integrated “always-on” motion analytics and seamless “streaming” playback of recorded video. The desktop/mini-tower NVR model is also ideal for larger organisations that prefer a decentralised video storage architecture.

“The desktop and mini-tower versions of our powerful Videoedge NVR offer security practitioners a robust, intuitive and cost effective video management solution,” said Warren Brown, Vice President of Product Management for Tyco Security Products. “Combined with the Victor unified client, our Videoedge NVR can help small to medium sized businesses securely and easily monitor their facility."

The new desktop/mini-tower offers built-in storage of 500Gb, 1Tb or as much as 2Tb. It can handle up to 32 cameras with 50Mbps maximum per recorder. The Videoedge NVR desktop/mini-tower is ideal for working with remote facilities or satellite locations, in both large and small installations.

The Videoedge NVR comes with a three-year hardware warranty, including parts such as hard disks and fans,.
