Airlive brings improved internet surveillance experience

Taipei, Taiwan

People are now used to searching and exchanging information, transferring data, watching streamed videos, listening to music and much more, over the internet. Today, there are many more smart appliances that support Wifi configuration to connect with the internet.  A conventional wireless AP can only connect via 2.4GHz which is now an extremely crowded frequency,  and perhaps nowadays wireless AP may not be sufficient to provide stable and fast wireless connection. To improve the situation, Airlive has launched a new AP, AC-1200R, featuring 802.11ac wireless technology to provide 2.4G and 5G dual band wireless connectivity, which enable the separation of bandwidth use to offer faster and a more stable wireless internet experience.

Today, people rely heavily on wireless networks no matter whether it be at home or in a business environment; certainly a fast and stable wireless network plays a vital role in our daily life. Further, for business operations in shops, stores, and SME offices, it is essential to have seamless integration of hardware and sotware.  Airlive has found that security, speed and reliability are the most important factors required in a modern office network environment today, to run specialist programmes, mail, video streams, run messenger services and IP surveillance etc. Thus, the owners of offices, stores, hotels are often crying out for a stable and faster wireless environment to enhance their service, productivity, and to offer a better user experience to enhance the perception of their business.

In answer to this growing trend and market requirement, Airlive presents its new AC-1200R, which supports speeds of up to 1,200 megabits per second, and has been designed to provide sufficient bandwidth coverage and reliability for gaming, HDTV video and music streaming.  With high power radios and MIMO technology, AC-1200R is able to provide up to 1.5 times the coverage compared to many previous wireless routers, which means faster speed at greater distances. This wireless AP is equipped with a powerful processor which is ideal for P2P connections, and 5 gigabit LAN ports to allow maximum speed connections with NAS or PC in user's houses and offices.

Further, Airlive offers a Central Management Software (CMS) to automatically configure the installed Airlive router(s) in a network, and allow user to change settings or upgrade firmware in a user-frinedly interface. Users can even do group configuration and firmware upgrades across multiple Airlive porducts, such as AC-1200R, N.Top,and AC Top.
