John Fry attended a Class 6 radio alarm training session during Cooper Security's highly successful Open Day at Enterprise Security Distribution's recently expanded Bristol distribution centre.
John was delighted with both his champagne and the course, he explained "I came on this course to bring myself up to speed with the new radio equipment and all the requirements of the Class 6 radio regulations. The course was perfectly pitched at installers and, even though I had used older radio systems before, I learned a lot about how to improve system performance by better use of aerials and the new 868MHz narrow-band equipment".
Unlike many manufacturers who talk about training but only provide occasional courses at their head office, Cooper Security have two dedicated training experts who daily travel the country delivering focused, certificated training sessions either at installers' premises or at convenient local venues.
Cooper Security is a keen advocate of on-going training for installers. "It is vitally important to the future of the security industry that engineers are well trained. Credibility must be increased substantially if companies are to survive in an increasingly competitive market. We believe that for both the installer, and the manufacturer, well trained installers are an essential competitive advantage, which is why we are happy to offer extensive training to our customers free of charge," said the Managing Director of Cooper Security.
