The new Optex OVS-01SG is a vehicle detection sensor built for solar gate and barrier applications. Its low current draw helps reduce energy demand, making it ideal for sites where conserving power is a priority without sacrificing reliable vehicle presence detection.

Using microwave FMCW technology, the OVS-01SG can detect both approaching and stationary vehicles at the gate. Three power consumption modes allow installers to balance response time and efficiency based on the needs of the site. Adjustable sensing distance, detection angle, sensitivity, and vehicle speed settings provide flexible installation for a variety of gate layouts and traffic conditions.

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the OVS-01SG features IP65 dust and water protection, horizontal angle adjustment, interference prevention, and area check functions to support stable setup and dependable operation.

Product highlights include:

  • Solar-friendly low power consumption helps reduce energy draw in solar gate applications
  • Static vehicle detection helps confirm the presence of stopped vehicles at the gate.
  • Adjustable detection area and sensitivity support flexible setup for different site conditions.
  • Detectable vehicle speed settings help optimize sensing for approaching traffic.
  • Reliable microwave detection supports stable outdoor vehicle presence sensing.
  • Angle adjustment and area check functions help streamline installation and setup.
  • Designed for gate and barrier applications where dependable vehicle detection is critical.
