ACT365 cloud-based access control integrates with Schlage Engage series

As more and more customers demand the flexibility of cloud-based access control with wireless locks, Vanderbilt has announced its integration between ACT365 and Schlage Engage series locks.

Aimed at providing additional options for wireless electronic access control beyond external doors, this integration is designed to be easy to install, connect, manage and use — all from the ACT365 cloud-based platform.

The Vanderbilt ACT365 access control cloud solution delivers complete scalability while allowing users to manage multiple sites from a single, user-friendly cloud interface without the added expense of local servers and IT resources. Add or block user access, or open and lockdown doors from a PC, laptop or smartphone. Remote diagnostics offer the convenience of troubleshooting issues from a mobile device, allowing everyone to get more done, more easily, and in less time.

Schlage NDE/B and LE/B locks with Engage technology seamlessly integrate with Vanderbilt ACT365 to provide a cost effective and scalable access control solution to meet a number of security needs.

The Schlage NDE/B and LE/B wireless locks with Engage technology and ACT365 pairing provide networked, real-time communication to the Engage IP Gateway, supporting wireless connectivity and eliminating the need to run wires to interior doors, concrete openings and remote locations.

ACT365 enables users to watch video footage, disable a user or open a door from any device at any time, meaning users can stay truly connected to their business wherever they are. The beauty of this kind of solution is that a local server or PC is not required to run the software, since everything is cloud-based and hosted on Microsoft Azure. As a result, the system is always up to date with automatic updates, so that users always have access to crucial security updates and new features.
