BSIA enhances brand and reaffirms role

As from the end of January the BSIA has launched its new web site, designed to reflect the Association’s positioning as the voice of the professional security industry, with a modern, updated and refreshed platform for members, potential members and end users, and a new look to its colour palette and logo.

The new website features prominent search engines; one designed to access our members services and the other to find general information on security. It is now also designed to be much easier to navigate using the three click standard, with a clear and simplified menu that makes it easier to search for our members, news and insight, products and services, and how to join the Association.

There is more emphasis on the use of digital technology using video and podcasts to promote thought leadership, member initiatives, standards and guidance. The website also promotes more actively an array of our other services, such as Skills for Security, Safercash and Safergems, as well as showcasing our major awards programme, the British Security Awards.

The new website features more visibility of key contacts, from the Association staff to section chairs, with more options for members and prospective members to contact directly for additional information. The new technology behind the website also gives members a useful dashboard to manage their own engagement with the Association.

As part of the launch, the BSIA has reviewed its corporate identity and has created a new palette of colours, using blue, red and white, whilst retaining its current logo and brand elements to reflect the Association’s strapline, ‘the voice of the professional security industry’.
