Vicon appoints new Director of VMS products

Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc. has appointed Louis Rabenold as Director of Video Management Software (VMS) Products.

In this role, it is expected that Rabenold will help shape the vision and strategy of Vicon’s acclaimed VMS solution, Valerus, and will be responsible for the roadmap and lifecycle management. He will be instrumental in creating the next generation of innovative video software technology that solves modern problems and advances innovation within the market.

Rabenold brings a sound combination of experience, with over 15 years of technical, sales, product and strategy at leading companies such as Tyco Integrated Security, Avigilon (Motorola) and Johnson Controls. During his time at these positions, he has assisted in developing both the long-term and short-term plans to increase sales and market share.

“Vicon represents the next generation of video management solutions,” said Rabenold. “I am excited to begin expanding Valerus offerings via innovation, strategic planning and GTM definition. My goal is to increase the market presence of the Valerus VMS platform by shaping the vision and strategy of Valerus with strong product roadmap and lifecycle management.”

According to Vantage Market Research, the total Global Video Management Software Market is estimated to reach $33.4 billion by the year 2028, with a CAGR of 22.7%.
