Vivotek adds 10 new H.265 products to portfolio

Taipei, Taiwan

Following the launch of the company's H.265/HEVC surveillance solutions at the end of 2015, Vivotek is now further adding 10 new H.265/HEVC surveillance products to its range. These new models include 3 full HD long distance IR speed dome cameras with the latest VAIR (Vari-Angle IR) technology, 3 outdoor full HD speed dome network cameras,  2 5 megapixel fisheye network cameras and 2 network video recorders.

These new products allow Vivotek to expand its H.265/HEVC product portfolio and enable more growth in diversified vertical markets. By employing H.265 compression technology and utilising Vivotek’s Smart Stream II technology, these cameras can reduce both bandwidth and storage consumption by up to 80% while retaining the highest standards in image quality.

In order to enhance low light surveillance, Vivotek is introducing 3 new IR speed dome cameras that are all equipped with 20x/30x optical zoom lens and Vivotek's latest VAIR technology. VAIR (Vari-Angle IR) automatically adjusts the IR angle of the IR illuminators (up to 250 metres), allowing broad coverage FOV (field of view), longer distance and highly uniform IR intensity. Compared with standard IR illuminators with fixed IR distances, Vivotek’s new IR speed domes ensure maximum image details are captured in extreme low light situations. Vivotek is also unveiling 3 more H.265 outdoor speed dome cameras. These are equipped with a 20x/ 30x optical zoom lens, and feature WDR Pro technology, IP68, IK10 and a NEMA 4X housing, offering robust day and night protection.

Vivotek is also adding two new H.265 fisheye network cameras to their already extensive fisheye portfolio. These two fisheye cameras deliver panoramic views with 5 megapixel CMOS sensors, and add WDR Pro technology to enhance coverage in areas of contrasting light. Further enhancing its versatility, the H.265 fisheye camera FE9381-EHV is full EN50155 compliant, and has an IK10 and IP66-rated housing, ensuring the camera can withstand shock, vibration, humidity, dust, and temperature fluctuations, offering reliable video capture during vehicle movement in transportation applications.

In addition to these advanced network cameras, Vivotek has introduces two H.265 compatible NVRs: the 64-channel NR9681, and the 32-channel NR9581. Both NVRs fully support H.265 video compression technology, RAID and up to 48Tb storage capacity  with 8 hard disk trays, offering 30% to 50% more recording capacity compared to other similar systems using H.264 compression. Furthermore, a de-warping function enables a panoramic image to be recorded while areas of interest are displayed in fine detail.

All Vivotek’s H.265 network cameras and network video recorders work seamlessly with the company's professional video management software, VAST Version 1.11. It supports a software license and H.265 video codec, allowing users to manage Vivotek IP surveillance products with ease.
