Hungarian Foreign Minister meets Dahua Chairman of the Board

On May 14th, Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, met with Mr. Fu Liquan, Dahua Chairman of the Board in Beijing. Ms. Márta Tóth-Mészáros, Director General of China Department at Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Mr. Michael Chen, Dahua Vice President, General Manager of Overseas Business, also took part in the meeting.

During the Meeting, Mr. Péter Szijjártó recognised Dahua’s contribution to the development of the Hungarian security industry, especially the Hungarian Border Project. He expressed that he hoped Dahua would continue to contribute to the future urban renewal of Hungary. Mr. Fu Liquan introduced Dahua’s history, its scale and strength. He emphasised Dahua’s early start in researching advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data, IoT, and how these technologies will play a key role in enhancing smart video analysis. According to Mr. Fu Liquan, Dahua attaches great importance to its market position in Hungary. In order to actively participate in Hungary’s future urban renewal, Dahua will continue to reinforce the localisation progress in this market. Dahua looks forward to delivering more and more cutting edge solutions and technologies to Hungary.

Mr. Péter Szijjártó came to China this time to participate in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (hereafter referred to as “BRFIC”). BRFIC is the highest standard forum themed with Belt and Road after the launch of this strategy by China, aiming to reinforce international and regional cooperation. Mr. Fu Liquan confirmed that, as a world leading manufacturer and supplier of intelligent security surveillance products and solutions, Dahua will follow a “One Belt One Road” national strategy and actively participate in the promotion of quality Made-in-China products and services, in this case, to the Hungarian market.

Dahua top management meeting with Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, demonstrated Dahua’s commitment to Hungarian market, and to some extent, its steady move towards globalisation. Dahua plans to continue the investment in overseas markets to build a stronger overseas organisation with extensive coverage and resources to support customers locally.
