Dahua new IHCVR offers face detection

Dahua Technology based in Hangzhou, China, is introducing a new line of products incorporating the company's latest IHCVR, face detection, technology.

IHCVR based on Dahua’s in-house High Definition Composite Video Interface (HDCVI) technology, provides a new generation of smart face detection which realises 1ch face detection, instant playback and face index playback. The IHCVR series products not only support face detection but also are able to achieve a face image snapshot and face image 20 seconds playback assisted by software.

The Dahua IHCVR product family is based on HDCVI technology and it retains the ease of use of an analog system while offering up to 720P HD video output.

This series of products features detected face images, motions, alarm snapshots and video can be uploaded to the free "Easy Space” (Network Cloud Disk) such as Skydrive and Dropbox to keep data safe and save storage space. Also the recorded data can be searched easily.

A P2P function allows simple and easy connection between the client-end and mobile apps. Dahua IHCVR can realise p2p network connection through scanning a QR code and logging on to a website.

The IHCVR product family includes the 5104/5108H-F and 5104/5108HE-F. Among these models, there are differing hardware cases, but in addition they can be differentiated through varying functions, such as for example the IHCVR5104/5108HE-F supports 4/8-ch alarm in and 3-ch alarm out.

Furthermore, the synchronisation software will be available for mobile phones later in January. With mobile device viewing support, it will be much more convenient to use. As for the users, IHCVR has been designed for a cost-effective, and easy-to-use high performance solution.
