Dahua launches HCVR 7000-4M series

Hangzhou, China

Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China, has further added to its portfolio with the launch of the HCVR 7000-4M series.

The HCVR 7000-4M series is the latest generation of digital video recorders adopting HDCVI technology and allowing long-distance HD transmission at low cost. This series supports up to 16 channels of HDCVI/CVBS inputs, 8 IP camera channels, 16 local live-view channels, and 16 playback channels.

The HCVR supports 4+2, 8+4, 16+8 IP camera inputs, and each channel is up to 5MP HD resolution (2560 x 1920) for recording and live viewing. The HDCVI/CVBS Auto-detect function can auto-recognise the signal of a front-camera without any setting. It makes operation more user friendly and convenient. Smart H.264+ saves up to 70% bandwidth and storage space without any change to the cameras. The HCVR7000-4M series can achieve 4K HDCVI access through the future firmware upgrades.

With built-in IVS (Intelligent Video System), the HCVR 7000-4M series has the ability to detect and analyse moving objects. The HCVR provides optional standard intelligence at the edge allowing detection of multiple object behaviours such as abandoned or missing objects. IVSS also supports tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a pre-determined line has been crossed. In addition, this series simultaneously supports other intelligent functions such as face detection and smart search.

Designed as a cost effective and easy to install product, this HCVR is ideal for a wide range of applications such as public safety, retail stores, transportation, home protection and education. It is compatible with numerous third-party devices that make it an effective solution for surveillance systems with or without a video management system (VMS).
