Cost-effective analogue to IP upgrade

New Etherxtra series from OTS

OT Systems, a company dedicated to the development of transmission solutions, is releasing the  new Etherxtra, Ethernet-over-Coax product family, which offers an easy and affordable way to upgrade existing analogue surveillance systems to IP whilst utilising the existing coaxial infrastructure.

There are two new models in the range, the ET1100CPp and the ET4200CPp-RS16.

The ET1100CPp is an EoC converter that supports Power over Ethernet (PoE, 30W) and Power over Coaxial (PoC). This converter provides transmission speeds at 100Mbps (downlink), and 100Mbps (uplink) and it is compatible with rack-mount 16-port receivers.

Whilst the ET4200CPp-RS16 is an EoC receiver with PoC.  One ET4200CPp is designed to connect 16 ET1100CPp-T and 16 IP cameras with max. 40Mbps (downlink) and 40Mbps (uplink).  It supports max. 800w output via Power over coaxial (PoC). This EoC receiver features full switching capacity with 4 shared Gigabit uplink ports.

OT Systems has its own in-house research and development team that focuses on creating innovative products designed to meet the changing demands of the growing security market.
