Biometric finger print access control kitsThe B100 is a standalone system, providing complete access control for a single door. Users are enrolled at the unit, no PC is required. Once enrolled, users simply swipe their finger to gain access.
The B100 is available in a surface or flush format. The flush version has been designed specifically to fit a standard single gang UK electrical box. This is particularly useful as quite often a single gang box will be fitted at the "first fix" stage of a development requiring the security installer to find a suitable reader to fit. With the B100 reader in flush, however, it's a perfect fit and Videx also offer a range of readers and exit buttons in the same style to accompany this reader, all available in six colour options.
A good example of where the B100 reader can be used is in a small office block where staff can gain access to secure parts of the building or schools and nurseries where the teachers and staff can gain access simply and conveniently while restricting access to visitors and children. For larger systems the Portal Plus allows coded, proximity and fingerprint access to be combined on the same system with the additional option of dual technology readers for higher security demands.
The GSM intercom enables users to answer calls from their door or gate from any telephone number including their mobile. It is available for single call button applications up to 50 apartments and as a digital system for up to 500 apartment all with the facility to divert to three additional numbers if the first is busy or unanswered.
Programming is carried out via SMS messaging or using the micro USB connection and specially designed PC software. Additionally the digital GSM can also be programmed through the entry panel keypad and display. Additional features include an exit button input, auxiliary inputs and outputs and dry contact relay.
In addition, the GSM PRO includes an integrated proximity access feature (for up to 1000 users), call progress is announced both verbally and with four call progress LEDs. An event log is maintained within the entry panel and can be integrated via the USB port and the bespoke PC software includes many features to simplify the installation and programming process.
This 7" TFT LCD colour video monitor complements our existing range of Kristallo videophones and audio apartment stations. The new monitor provides a larger screen and features such as touch sensitive controls, hands-free speech with simplex function, entrance recall, door release, a timed do not disturb function and the ability to intercommunicate between multiple devices.
The monitors allow those who live in flats or apartments to receive calls via their door entry system - such as the Kristallo videophone for instance - from one or more entrance points to their building, view (on the colour video monitor) and speak to the caller before allowing the caller access to the building. With the addition of an intercommunicating facility, residents are also able to call other Kristallo videophones and apartment stations within the same system. These could be other Kristallos within the same apartment or nearby neighbouring flats, for example.
Currently, the video monitors are available for the VX2200 6 wire system and the VX2300 2 wire system with a 2 wire kit also available, enabling these monitors to be used in one apartment systems all the way through to high-rise systems with up to 1,000 apartments. The monitors are also available in two finishes, white or black and in surface or flush mounting options with flush boxes available for both solid wall and dry line wall installations.
The 4212 panel is vandal resistant and best suited to low, medium and high-rise apartments, student accommodation, business establishments and housing association properties. It adds to the existing Videx range of digital door panels but carries better, more advanced features. It is also Secured by Design accredited, the Police initiative for designing out crime through physical security.
The 4212 includes many new features that makes the process of calling an apartment from an entrance easier. These include a graphical LCD screen which displays text and intuitive icons during the calling progress. The voice annunciation feature verbally guides the visitor through the process of calling an apartment. What's more, the backlit keypad with piped number 5 key not only allows the keypad to be used when lighting is poor but also aids visually impaired visitors, making it fully compliant to the Disability Discrimination guidelines under The Equality Act 2010.
Further features include an integrated wide angle (155°) 570k pixel camera and proximity reader. The 4212, which is capable of calling up to 1,000 apartments, includes coded access for up to 2,800 codes. Proximity access can be self-contained for up to 2,800 users or the integral reader can be used with the Portal Plus access control system or third party access control supporting the Wiegand protocol.
The UIM-138 is an LCD display and voice unit that can be used within door entry systems of residential and commercial properties, to strengthen access control security.
The UIM-138 has been developed to not only enhance business and residential access control systems but also to meet the legal requirements of The Equality Act 2010, where entrance door accessibility needs to be granted to all visitors including those with disabilities.
The display and voice annunciation features have traditionally been a feature of digital door panels which are primarily used on large scale developments. The UIM-138 brings this capability to smaller systems which can be used within traditional door entry panels on smaller properties.
The UIM-138 can be added to any vandal resistant or VR4K door panel for the VX2200 system. The two line, 16 character blue back lit LCD is protected behind a 6mm Lexan window. The unit is fully programmable using the built-in USB port and custom PC software allowing user names, apartment numbers and additional displayed messages to be programmed into non-volatile memory.
