Innotrans, takes place at Messe Berlin from the 22nd – 25th of September, and is recognised as one of the world's leading trade fairs for transport technology - bringing together the key players shaping railway technology, infrastructure, public transport, and tunnel construction.
This year is particularly significant for Zenitel. 2026 marks 125 years since the company's founding in 1901, and Zenitel will be marking that milestone at Innotrans alongside its partners and customers. Over more than a century, Zenitel has grown from its early roots into a trusted provider of critical communication solutions, with its audio systems including Intercom and PAVA both onboard and Wayside now supporting billions of passengers and thousands of stations worldwide. Innotrans provides a fitting platform to mark that heritage, on one of the industry's largest stages.
At the heart of the Zenitel stand will be VAIA, the all-in-one Public Address and Voice Alarm amplifier built specifically for the demands of the transportation industry. Drawing on years of engineering expertise and feedback from integrators and operators worldwide, VAIA brings compact, cost-effective PAVA power to everything from the smallest station stop to the busiest terminus-without compromising on the reliability transport networks depend on.
Addressing cyber security
As networks become more connected, they also become more exposed-and that's where PAVA cyber security takes centre stage this year. Zenitel's team will be demonstrating how its audio and voice alarm systems are engineered to withstand modern cyber threats, giving operators the confidence that safety-critical communications stay protected as infrastructure grows smarter and more interlinked.
Visitors to the stand will be able to witness live demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and direct access to Zenitel's transportation specialists-covering everything from VAIA and IP loudspeakers to full modular rack-based PAVA systems and seamless intercom integration for a truly unified communication platform.
The Zenitel team will be on the stand at the event, including, Koen Claerbout (Chief Executive Officer & President), Matt Maher (Executive Vice President), Henry Rawlins (Vice President Product Management), Hanne Eriksen (Senior Vice President), Paul Langridge (Business Development Manager), and Nik Manson (Technical Account Manager).
