Ajax Systems, an international tech company and one of the largest manufacturers of security systems in Europe, has won the prestigious EACD Communications Excellence Award. The company was recognised for its exceptional professionalism and best practices in communications.

The EACD Communications Excellence Award honors companies that demonstrate the highest level of communication excellence worldwide, the ability to unite people and overcome barriers through effective communication, as well as make a significant contribution to the development of the organisation and broader society.

In a traditionally conservative security industry, Ajax Systems believes it has fundamentally redefined the perception of security devices. The company claims its stake as being the first in the industry to start talking about protection not through dry specifications but through emotions and user experience. The focus shifted from presentations and long descriptions to aesthetic design materials, clear video instructions, meaningful product pages on the website, and creative campaigns.

One of the examples of the company's non-trivial communication is Ajax Special Event, an annual product presentation that has become a global industry benchmark. The latest event, titled "Dare to be first," combined a high-end online broadcast with nearly 100 offline premieres in 36 countries, reaching a total of over 2.7 million people.

Beyond business achievements, Ajax Systems consistently drives impactful social initiatives. The company supports the development of engineering education through the Ajax Next initiative and contributes to preserving cultural heritage worldwide. Furthermore, in the first days of the full-scale war, Ajax Systems co-developed the life-saving Air Alert app. With over 46 million downloads, the app won the European Excellence Award 2024.

"Winning the EACD Communications Excellence Award is an extremely important recognition for our team. From the very beginning, our goal was to overcome indifference and prove that security communication can be exciting, stylish, and people-centred. We break outdated templates of the conservative industry, replacing the language of dry numbers with live emotions. Our unique format of presentations — Ajax Special Event — proves: even high-tech engineering solutions can be talked about simply and accessibly," said Valentine Hrytsenko, CMO at Ajax Systems.

Founded in Brussels in 2006, the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) is the leading network for communication professionals across Europe, bringing together experts from corporate, public, and non-profit sectors.
