As part of the expansion, Genetec has recently hired two physical security sales experts. Based in Sweden, Sales Engineer Aron Lidé will collaborate with both existing and new customers throughout the sales process, providing technical guidance that enables organisations in Nordics to implement the most effective and future-ready security solutions.

In addition, Jørgen Onstad joined the Nordics team as well. Based in Norway, he works closely with customers and partners across the Nordics region to guide them on the different possibilities regarding video, access control, license plate recognition and many other technologies being offered through unified solutions, ensuring they select the best options for their specific needs.

Technical expertise of physical security

According to Bob van Keulen, Regional Sales Director Benelux and Nordics, the growing Nordics team is a result of the expansion of Genetec in general in EMEA. He comments: “I’m pleased that both new Nordics team members bring extensive technical expertise of physical security with them, allowing our Nordics team to help customers manage complex physical security design requirements. I see great potential for growth in the Nordics region and look forward to expanding the team even more in 2026 and beyond.”

The new team members are joining Genetec as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the Nordics, working with customers such as Volvo Group, Reiknistofa bankanna (RB) and Cytiva.
