The PKT system, enables you to equip doors with non-cabled Access control units while at the same time managing and distributing access rights centrally. Using Mi-fare and Legic technology, a simple card reader is turned into a read/write device. When the proximity card is held within the working area of such an active reader, the access rights are checked and within just a few milliseconds, new access credentials are written back onto the card.
There are various components available, which contain all the reading and control electronics:

 The PKT Comfort Door Terminal checks the current access profile written onto the card at the online reader and reacts accordingly. The large LED display indicates the processing of the rights and there is additional space for labelling the door.

 The PKT Security Door Terminal is made completely of stainless steel making it both attractive and robust. Because of its slim design, it is easy to install starting from a bolt length as short as 35 mm. The PKT Security Door Terminal complies with DIN EN 1125 and DIN EN 179 for panic and escape doors, DIN 18273 for fire and smoke doors as well as DIN EN 1906 for intrusion prevention characteristics, Protection Class 2.

 The PKT Digital Cylinder stands out through its simple and quick installation and its ease of operation. It can be installed everywhere as no modifications need to be made to the door. The Digital cylinder is also suitable for use on fire doors.

 The stand-alone PKT Offline reader offers a further option for the offline transmission of the access rights written to the card by the online read/write device. Its attractive, low-profile housing allows you to install it in the shortest possible time and gives the complete ease of use you would expect from a tried-and-tested reader.
