Despite persisting difficulties in the general economic environment, Mobotix AG was able to increase its revenue by approximately 9 % to Euro 23.9m in the first six months of fiscal year 2009/10 (prior year: Euro 22.0m). This was due in particular to the successful product launch of the Q24 camera line, the Mx2wire technology as well as the growing export business. Profitability continues to be at an extraordinarily high level with an EBIT margin of 19.5 % and an EBITDA margin of 23.3 %. Net income for the period amounted to Euro 3.2 million, resulting in earnings per share of Euro 0.72 (prior year: Euro 0.85).

In the second quarter (October 1 - December 31, 2009) of the current fiscal year, Mobotix AG's sales amounted to Euro 13.3m (previous year: Euro 11.7m) corresponding to a growth of about 13.8 % compared with the same period of the previous year. The EBITDA of the last three months reached Euro 3.1m (previous year: Euro 3.0m), resulting in an EBITDA margin of 24.5 %. The EBIT in the second quarter of the fiscal year reached previous year's value of Euro 2.7m, resulting in an EBIT margin of 20.9 %.
