Axis wins most valuable product award

Las Vegas, Nv

At last week's ISC West Expo in Las Vegas, Axis Communications was recognised by Security Sales & Integration for its Axis P8804 Stereo Sensor Kit in the video surveillance category of the Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards. Recognising groundbreaking suppliers and manufacturers, the Most Valuable Product Awards ceremony took place at an evening ceremony at The Venetian Hotel.

The Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards recognise products that make a substantial impact on integrators and were judged on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, benefits to the installer or monitoring provider, and benefits to the end user.

The Axis P8804 Stereo Sensor kit with Cognimatics Trueview 3D people counter provides synchronised stereo imaging from an Axis F8804 Stereo Sensor unit and an Axis F34 main unit. Given the F8804 Stereo Sensor unit is discreetly and easily installed indoors on ceiling, it is an ideal solution for retail stores, banks, airport, train stations. Used alongside Cognimatics’ 3D people counter, the combined solution gives integrators an opportunity to sell an advanced video solution that helps customers get more accurate details of how customers interact with their business.

“We are honoured to have the Axis P8804 Stereo Sensor kit chosen for this award. This win recognises our commitment to making high quality products that are designed with the end user in mind,” says Fredrik Nilsson, Vice President, Americas, Axis Communications, Inc. “At Axis, we hold ourselves responsible for continuing to improve our solutions and their benefit to our customers.”
