Basler strengthens IP camera team with new manager

Ahrensburg, Germany

German digital camera manufacturer Basler has reinforced its IP camera sales team and has appointed a new product manager.
Björn Weber is taking over product management for Basler’s IP camera series. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and started working for Basler in 2005 as a Product Support Engineer for machine vision cameras. In 2008, Björn Weber joined Basler's IP camera team and was responsible for IP camera product support.

Basler has also modified its sales organisation. The existing IP camera sales team will now be reinforced by the experienced sales managers from Basler’s industrial camera line. Basler’s customers will benefit from an even more comprehensive consultation.
"We have learned that we can serve many projects by using products from both the industrial and the network camera line," explains Hardy Mehl, Director of Marketing at Basler. "By strengthening our IP camera sales team, we leverage synergies across our different camera technologies; this will provide our customers with the optimal solution for their needs from our complete product range."
