Arecont Vision sustains double digit growth for 8th consecutive year

Arecont Vision has recorded a 25.5% increase in revenues up from $51M in 2010 to $64M in 2011 in its audited financial results. The company has achieved this growth by its continued focus on developing superior megapixel imaging solutions for mainstream video surveillance applications.

Impressive sales figures for 2011 reflect Arecont Vision’s growth worldwide. The Americas, Europe-Middle East-Africa, and Asia Pacific all posted significant gains.

New product innovation was important for Arecont Vision and its customers in 2011. The company released several important product platforms that further the company’s strong position among IP/megapixel camera manufacturers, including 20MP panoramic day night H.264 camera systems, 1.3-10MP fourth generation H.264 cameras, 3 and 5MP H.264 bullet camera systems and 1.3-5MP indoor H.264 mini dome camera systems.

Dahua Technology launches ePoE IP system

Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. is launching a system of extended Power over Ethernet (ePoE) devices including cameras, network switches and network recorders. Dahua ePoE IP system supports up to 800 metres between the ePoE camera and the ePoE network switch or ePoE NVR with an embedded switch. It overcomes the limitations of traditional Ethernet and POE (both restrict cable distances to around 100 metres (328 feet) between network ports) and eliminates the need for Ethernet extension devices or additional network switches.
